In the northeast of Maastricht, in beautiful green surroundings, lie a number of impressive estates. At one time, almost all of them were owned by one man: Petrus Regout. Regout was the first major industrialist in Maastricht and the Netherlands. His factories were located where the film houses of Maastricht (Lumière and Pathé) are now. 

In this walk, historian and guide Kris Förster will tell you everything about this man who is both revered and reviled in Maastricht. During the walk all estates will be visited.
